What is the volume flow rate of the water?
The flow rate can be measured in meters cubed per second (m3/s), or in liters per second (L/s). Liters are more common for measures of liquid volume, and 1 m3/s = 1000 L/s.
What is the velocity of the flow?
Flow velocity is a vector quantity used to describe the motion of a fluid. It can be easily determined for laminar flow but complex to determine for turbulent flow. Volumetric flowrate is the volume of a liquid that passes through a given surface per unit time.
What is mass flow rate?
kg/s. In physics and engineering, mass flow rate is the mass of a substance which passes per unit of time. Its unit is kilogram per second in SI units, and slug per second or pound per second in US customary units.
